Welcome to Les Loizards
You are welcome at Les Loizards to unwind in the middle of nature. Les Loizards is a nineteenth-century farmhouse. Les Loizards is surrounded by meadows and woodland plots. The road to the farmyard leads to a dead end in the forest. Only the occasional forester or hiker passes Les Loizards. Consequently, you don't hear much there other than the peepers of nature. Calling owls, barking deer and singing birds. In spring and autumn, you can hear the water flowing in the little stream in the meadow
The Morvan
The Morvan is a beautiful natural area in the heart of France. The area is best known for its vast forests, picturesque lakes and picturesque villages. It is an ideal destination for tourists looking for tranquillity, nature and an authentic French experience. The Morvan offers numerous activities for tourists. Hikers and cyclists can enjoy the many well-marked trails running through the area, while water sports enthusiasts can choose from several lakes for swimming, kayaking and fishing. There are also several riding stables where tourists can go horse riding. One of the highlights of the Morvan is the Morvan Regional Natural Park, which covers more than 2,000 square kilometres. The park is home to rich flora and fauna, including wild boar, deer, roe deer and birds of prey. There are also several historical sites worth visiting in the Morvan, such as the fortified towns of Vézelay and Avallon, and the abbey of Fontenay, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Gite
The gite Les Loizards cosy and well-equipped. The living room overlooks the terrace and a little further the edge of the forest. The open kitchen has a hob, an oven, a dishwasher and, of course, a fridge. Upstairs is the bathroom with shower and the bedroom. If you open the roller screen, you can see the meadow from your bed where you can sometimes see wildlife. There is a washing machine for your own use and a pellet stove that can keep it warm in winter.
